This layout was a result of a big stitching experiment that I wanted to try.

I had created a previous layout that had a string-art style of stitching on it and I thought that idea could be really cool with a circle.

I created a circle grid background and then stitched around the circle with a back-stitch. Then I pierced a single hole in the middle of the circle and added a long stitch that went from each outer pierced hole to that center hole.

It created this really cool "wheel" effect! I LOVED seeing this one come together! It took awhile to do, but the end result is so cool that I don't care one little bit. (I wouldn't care regardless because I'm obsessed with stitching!)

And, I loved the result so much that I turned it into an AD Stitching Template kit that you can buy at Scrapbook Generation.
The template kit comes with:
• a 12x12 piece of white cardstock with a pencil sketched design on it
• 6 full skeins of embroidery floss to complete the design
• a layout example showing how you can scrapbook with the design
• 8-page PDF with detailed step-by-step directions for completing the stitched design
