This layout is one I made for a We Create class a few years ago. I've always wanted to play with some shaker designs and we had just gotten these new products from a company called My Favorite Things that were so perfect for the project I wanted to make.
Supplies used - Cardstock: American Crafts; Patterned paper: Bella Blvd; Shake die and pouch: My Favorite Things, Shaker filler: Dress My Craft; Embroidery floss: DMC; Computer font: Century Gothic
My Favorite Things has several shaker pouch designs, but what makes them interesting is they also have a metal die that coordinates with the pouches. I used them to make a shaker piece to fill in for the "O" in my "LOVE" title.
I filled the shaker with some tiny conversation hearts and a few sequins and then added stitching on the rest of the letters for the title.
I also used some of the tiny shaker hearts to accent the heart cluster around my photo.
It was so fun to create this shaker and seeing this layout reminds me that I need to make more!
