Once a month learn how to use scrapbook sketches and adapt them to fit different styles, photo sizes, and themes. Sketches = endless scrapbooking ideas with little effort. Sketches do all the heavy lifting allowing you to have all the fun!
Here is the two-page sketch that I'll be using this week:

This month it is a 3-page PDF of 22 different sketch options. That makes 23 sketches for this month of Sketch Support. There are options that show how to change up the papers, use more photos, use less photos, there are three one-page options, and then an 8-1/2 x 11" option. The fun part is that you could use each option as a layout on its own, but you could also mix and match different options for endless possibilities!

Supplies used - Cardstock, patterned paper, stickers, foam words, enamel hearts: Hip Kit Club; Heart punches: Recollections; Embroidery floss: DMC; Computer font: Avenir Next
I knew right away with this sketch that when it came to creating a one-page layout I was going to concentrate on the left page. That sunburst design works so well for a one-page layout!

I started with a patterned paper from Hip Kit Club that has a watercolor design on it. I was immediately in love with that paper and knew it would be the perfect background for this design! Then I cut cardstock strips that matched the colors of the watercolor design and punched hearts from the same papers to add to the ends.

I also added lots of stitching to match as well! I added some to the punched hearts and then some lines to add even more to the sunburst. At the ends of the stitched lines I added some enamel hearts with foam adhesive.

For my photos I used smaller photos than the sketch, mostly to work with the watercolor design. Larger photos would have covered so much of it and I really wanted to highlight that part of the design.

I've also created a process video to go with this layout! You can watch it all come together here...
