Hi everyone! I had the pleasure to be a guest designer for Spellbinders and got to create 3 different projects using the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Love Story collection and some fun Spellbinders products. Today I'm sharing the first layout below or you can see two of the layout on the Spellbinders Blog.
Supplies used - Patterned paper, die cuts, stickers, and chipboard: Simple Stories; Heart cutting dies: Spelllbinders Essential Hearts; Heart punches: Fiskars and Recollections; Embroidery floss: DMC
I used the Spellbinders Essential Hearts cutting die, which comes with several sizes, to cut a variety of hearts in multiple patterned papers. Then I used those hearts to create a layered wreath.
Before I adhered the hearts I added a stitched border on the larger ones. I will forever love the texture, dimension, and beautiful detail stitching adds. I really, really loved the look of the stitching with the vintage style papers!
I also added in some small Simple Stories die cut hearts to fill out the whole wreath design.
Wreaths, to me, will always be one of the classic designs that I turn to often. They are so easy to make and adapt or customize to different themes and shapes.

And, I also made three free sketches for you all to download on the Spellbinders website! You can find them here - Spellbinders Sketches
